As a commitment to maintaining the quality of vocational education, the Applied Foreign Languages Study Program, Department of Information and Culture, Vocational School (SV) Diponegoro University, officially began preparations for program reaccreditation. This initial step was realized through a socialization event for the Independent Accreditation Institution (LAM) instrument held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Building A, SV Tembalang Campus.
This event brought together all key elements within the department, from leadership, program heads and secretaries, to educational staff. The primary focus was on two study programs: the Information and Public Relations Study Program and the Applied Foreign Languages Study Program.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Yanuar Luqman, S.Sos., M.Si., an academic from the Undip Master of Communication Science program who also has the capabilities of a LAMSPAK assessor. In his presentation, he comprehensively discussed:
- Latest Assessment Indicators: The standards that serve as the current assessment parameters.
- Document Preparation: Techniques for systematically compiling supporting data.
- Excellence Predicate Strategy: Tips and tricks for meeting criteria to achieve maximum results.
The atmosphere in the 4th-floor meeting room was lively with interactive discussions. Lecturers actively engaged in exploring the technical aspects of completing the instruments, demonstrating the department's commitment to facing the challenges of this academic evaluation.
"This activity is not merely an administrative requirement, but also a confirmation of our commitment to improving the governance of vocational education to ensure its relevance to industry needs."
Through this outreach, the entire Department of Information and Culture community hopes that the entire team will have a shared understanding. With planned and ongoing preparation, this reaccreditation process is expected to maintain and improve the quality of superior education for all students.
